Seder Day Food Dilemma

10 Matzo-Free Suggestions

Most Rabbis agree that after sunrise on the first Seder day, and until the Seder begins, the halacha (Jewish law) is that one must not consume any baked matzo or matzo meal products. So, the question is what should we eat – NO chometz, No matzo products?
We present some ideas from our readers, and for our readers. Of course, keep in mind that kosher for Passover products should be used.

Fish or chicken schnitzel made with potato starch
Blintzes or filled crepes made with potato starch
Chicken, beef or vegetarian cholent
Stuffed cabbage
Potato kugel
Chopped liver, chopped egg salad, tuna salad, white fish
Salads with dressing
French fries, cheese fries
Loaded baked potatoes
Fruits, ice cream, yogurt

We have recently discovered kosher for Passover gluten free Lieber's Yum Yum Crackers—looks like crackers, tastes like crackers but made with no matzo products. These will work perfectly for Seder day.
